Marvel's December solicitations have been revealed. While The Defenders relaunch is taking up a lot of attention, and the Regenesis and Spider-Island fallout looks set to take those franchises in a new, bold direction... WE JUST DON'T CARE BECAUSE PAOLO RIVERA HAS DRAWN THIS COVER FOR DAREDEVIL
The single most exciting thing to happen to comics this year has been the friendly competition between Paolo Manuel Rivera and Marcos Martin to see who can create the most incredible, unbelievable, mind-blowing Daredevil artwork. And while both men have put in stunning work, this cover has slightly tipped things in Rivera's favour. Will Martin's rebuttal in January even the battle? We can't wait to find out.

Is this a return to the old Marvel tradition of all-out sweetness in their December comics releases? I sure hope so! I have a spinner rack that I pull out every year around the holidays, filling it up with all of the old 'Batman saves X-Mas' and 'Kitty Pryde stays home for Chanukah' books that I own. Not only do my girlfriend and I re-read them when we need a li'l bit of a sappy pick-me-up, but my visiting nephews and nieces (and brothers and sisters) love 'em, too!
